December Meeting 2017

We continued our tradition and made a visit to the elderly at Villa Siena. We also brought them hand made fleece scarves and sang Christmas Carols.

This month's meeting was about Advent and self-denial!

Summary:

• Advent is the time to prepare for Jesus’ birth on Christmas Day.

• We practice self-denial during Advent to prepare our hearts for Jesus’ arrival.

• Self-denial is denying yourself something small such as dessert one night and doing it for God.

Resolutions:

• Help your family more to let love into our hearts.

• Pray to be more understanding and kind to others.

• Make small sacrifices to make up for what we have done wrong.
