November Meeting 2017

This month's meeting was about poverty! The activity was making fleece scarves to give away to the elderly during our Christmas Caroling and Visit in December.

Summary:

• Poverty is being able to not be materially attached to what we own and to be happy with what we have.

• The purpose of our possessions is to help others and not be self-centered.

• We can make little sacrifices to contribute to others’ wellbeing.

Resolutions:

• Moderate your spending and shopping habits.

• Make the most of what you have.

• Donate to those in need.
